We need Volunteers in every area..from on-site help with caretaking to maintenance, construction, electrical, welding or plumbing work. Off-site we can use office help (in Phoenix.)

Toys, particularly large toys for the big, more destructive birds.
Treats such as millet spray; roasted in-the-shell unsalted peanuts or pistachios; other in-the-shell human grade nuts, in particular almonds and walnuts. Note: we are dealing with very large numbers of birds so a minimum 5 pound bag or larger is recommended for cost efficiency.
Newspapers for use in cage cleaning. If you are coming to visit and are driving, a collection of newspaper is always very much appreciated.
Hard surface steamer/cleaner for cleaning floors of bird buildings
Electric golf-cart (two-seater for daily feeding or a four-seater for tours)
Riding lawn mower . with 72 acres, our push mower makes for slow going!!
Tuff-Shed type building for storage and/or a workshop
Construction trailer for use as another small bird building
Manufactured or mobile home, single or doublewide, for employee and/or guest housing
Small backhoe for digging larger areas such as aviary foundations.
T-posts . 6-8 foot tall
Fencing materials, wood or wire
Cage building materials; weld wire, hardware cloth, roofing, iron
Metal buildings for additional bird buildings or storage
We recommend using the US Post Office for shipping small items or UPS for the larger items.
They are the best at delivering to this remote rural location.
